WA Project Quote?
hey guys,
anyone remember WILDSTANG? 69 coupe?
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1969-Ford-Mu ... 147wt_1163
This car looks very HOT!
Just wondering what the bill would be for repairing a car like this?
the price seems pretty good for a local project, but i wouldnt have a clue about the bill...

Yes Tim beautiful car it was.
That car is where my WA "WILDSTANG" number plates came from.
The previous owner moved East with the Mustang and i purchased the plates for my 67 convertible.
She sold the car, then the new owner fried it, she was not happy about it as it was her pride and joy.

You're a game man taking on that job!
Re: WA Project Quote?
Unless I'm confused with the pics, it an interesting mix of steering on the RH Side and the brake booster and master cylinder is on the LH side. Has anyone seen the car and how the RHD conversion was undertaken?

I can find out. But the description also hints its using the original steering box. I thonk this one is a chain driven convertion...
I found this post when the previous owner posted it on facebook. I can confirm that if you like.
Car is now in melbourne, so its no longer a local car anyway.
I would think that this would be a great parts car for someone.
But i am still curious about what $ it would take to fix something like this?

A lot more than it would be worth finished. Then add even more to correct the rhd conversion. It is worth parts value only. At the buy it now price it would owe you 75k ish on the road.
Re: WA Project Quote?
I'm sure when Tracey took the car went to SA it was still LHD. It would have needed a conversion to get registered there.
Sad sight.

Re: WA Project Quote?
Not worth what they are asking for it. It is a wrecking only car & you would be flat out getting your money back on the parts.
You could land a 69 coupe (driver) car here from the US for around that money.
