My question is if the flush finish like in photo 1 is a custom job or if they usually have join marks around them like in the photo 2 (I think i just answered my own question whilst searching for these pics)

I guess where I am going with this is how hard would it be to transplant these onto a mustang and what do you guys think itll look like? I will hit photoshop a bit later if no one else beats me to it...my thoughts are these particular ones may be too long.

Have seen sigma flutes on non sigmas as well. Are you chasing something with an indicator light in it?

Im just thinking that the thin chrome strip might look smart on a mustang/give you fender indicators.

I am thinking these may be used for induction for the blower. 👋

As far as fitting, not too difficult as any part will fit any car, some harder to fit than others... Shocked

Factory they have a join, but it is common for them to be fibreglassed into existing panels.

I like them too.

This may sound weird but i prefer the Blue one. I reckon the outside lines add to the look and provide more detail to the feature.

Not sure how they would look and my 68 vert ..maybe better on a later model

but good choice Foresight.

Isn't the safety of side markers enough for you! Nah im sure we can come up with some crazy idea

Thanks for confirming blkpny

Yeh i think they would look good grumpy. The reason I want a flush look is it'll fit in with the rest of the car a lot better. A lot of Too much effort is going into cleaning up and smoothing the car so I wouldnt add them unless they were flush.

Would bonding this to a panel be a bad idea since it isnt a metal/metal or fiberglass/fiberglass bond?

I like the smooth look Lee but I like things smooth.

I am with Happy on this one as I like stuff to look "factory" as if Ford had put it there.

This is another optiion and it looks like it could easily be made functional

I could see the shape of them possibly being an issue since they are a lot bigger and obviously not made for mustang shaped fenders...I still like the chrome bar of the other vents though

Ha! I probably sold them to the guy's who put them in other cars. I've sold a few hundred sets on Ebay over the last few years.

They are plastic, not fibreglass, bot don't worry about the bond not sticking, fibreglass scoops have been bonded to steel bonnets for years.
