So contacted a local Gv supplier, they can get me in a C4 tail shaft extention, for $1500....
Next step is to get the C4 serviced tomorrow, and then either see if I can source a C4 extention for cheaper, or take one of you gentlemen (and i use that term very loosely) on the offer of a C6. Which, relaistically, may be the better option - I can plan the swap, get the C6 serviced, get a tail shaft made or shortened, lay everything out and hopefully get the swap done over a weekend.
Any of the GV users got any hot tips for young players on install?

Small update, GV unit has been paid for, just looking into shipping options.
C4 is officially toast 😒 But that's not surprising, it's one of the only parts of the car I e not touched since I've had her. The guys at Markos Transmissions in Penriff have sorted me out and done enough to keep the car on the road for another month or two.
Also picked up a new fuel tank today, found out the original (and I do mean original) leaked when full. Not optimal.....
