Are you going to paint this car or have the whole thing in CF panels

Nah, painting over the CF. Seems a pity to paint such pretty stuff though. We'll leave the CF look to the jappers! Wink2

Perhaps some well placed decals/stripes that are removed after paint to reveal what lay beneath? Seems a shame to hide.

Thats a damn good idea, would be a very subtle way of showing off. Like

Don't know I think I'd satin black/charcoal, ie match the colour by eye on the rest of the car, and leave the CF parts plain, could look really killer, you paid for it I'd show it off.

I agree, they look awesome, some subtle reveals would look great. Awesome project either way. Keep it coming

You could wrap the rest of the body in carbon fibre vinyl

Hi, does anyone know what happened with this project, did it get on the road? Does Russ still post on the forum? I am getting to the end stages of a 69 restomod as well & I would love to know where he got his billet trunk hinges from?

HELLO ALL AGAIN!!! Hope you are all well. Yes I'm still alive, yes the car is still in my possession, although I'm thinking of changing my avatar to the 'Mustang Ten YEAR Club'... 😒 Been some time since I've been on here as the pain of not being able to go on with my project, as others on here progressed with theirs... was to much to bare Embarrassed
Purchased a house and 12acre block so my finances have been kept to a minimum. The place needed a whole lot of loving and most importantly a shed (12x7m) which is currently being built... So with many a soulless day passed, with constant empty stares and cravings of something with power under my foot, my project, and with ' The Mrs's blessing' will get under way in Late march 2014. Because after all, every man needs, every man deserves, a toy. :rotfl:
