Truth be told it was Trav who was the master tech...

Thanks once again for your assistance today mate. Oh yeah, and the ride around the block in that beast of yours! Man that thing has some poke 'eh?!?

Couldnt leave without offering a motivation drive! Not so much the poke ( not that yesterdays conditions were ideal for testing that) but the fact it just sticks to the road and is so planted and confidence inspiring. It really is a 470hp go-kart now.

Does anyone have a close up of the end of the steering centre link where the power steering control valve screws on?

In particular I am looking for the roll pin that goes through it and what I presume locates and locks the control valve in place...

That valve also shows wear marks from original location of roll pin that you can use as a guide.

Thanks again guys. Looks like a standard 1/8" roll pin from a hardware store will do the job

Any decent car parts place will have a small grab pack of them, if not individual ones.

Hard to find decent car places these days.
My mother-in-law went to autobahn to get a new headlight globe for her car. They told her she would have to take it to Mercedes

It was just a H7 globe Head Bash

Still a few bursons around thankfully.

Nice work Trav, where is that slack prick that owns the motor? He should be on a wire wheel or something.
To be fair though, he makes a good coffee.

Love the attention to detail, the sign of a great builder ...... 😂

When I see things like the freeze plugs all aligned, I know the inside is correct.
