So you need to get a 9th injector (small one is ok) - then it squirts a little alcohol (methanol) while under boost into the intake track just after the supercharger's output pre-engine intake. This will drop the temp alot.

Might be a little complex but it is all good to do..... while on holidays.

I will someday think of something clever to say.

Doesn't help normal driving though Boof... I did look into water/meth injection, but you'd only do it on boost (unless you want to fill the tank every 10 mins) so it doesn't really achieve what I want.

Do you have a hole in the bonnet under your scoop. If not wouldn't that help a bit.

Agreed - moving the battery will provide the space the get fresh air into the intake filter.

Yep, which was perfect for the old air filter that had a filter in the top. My intake temps were awesome.

But the supercharger can't take the air from there. There's not enough room. I doubt the scoop is doing much at all now for the intake temps. It's too far away.

But I bet a 450HP 1J doesn't still use the stock cooler.
Some time before xmas and NY, I'm going to remove the battery (and radiator), so I will be able to see how much room is available.
I'm trying to avoid putting anything else in front of the radiator at the moment.

New radiator added to the list. Thanks again Rislone copper sealant! Never use it!

Call me Jeff as I have done a couple in that spot. Battery stayed in place as well.
