Look under DIY project in the tech section. Shows the plans for a set.

I will someday think of something clever to say.

Still looking for someone who makes these mounts. The commercial ones are a little expensive at the moment as im not that desperate yet.
Or does anyone know of any other way to safely lower engine by 1/2 inch?

Take the plans to a metal cutting shop and price out getting a set cut out for you. You will then get an idea of minimal core material and time costs - you may find the commercial ones might not be such a bad price.

Out of curiosity, why do you require the extra clearance?

well not trying to pick on you,but no one i know would make those for a customer for much less then $250.( labour ,materials, machinery costs, profit)
unless you find someone that wants to do you a favour.
good luck.

Pretty sure there is a scoop, moulded into the bonnet.

I need 1/2 inch spacer between carb and blower so I can run a vac hose for my brake booster.
The only one I have off the carb is going to the pcv valve which I need otherwise I get a bit of blowby.

Can't pick it up from inlet manifold at all?
