New repro turn signal switch 67=Not working Reply to topic

I just got all my wiring finally finished and spent ages chasing problems with the indicators and brake lights. If I jiggled the indicator lever all sorts of shit would happen, fuckin left brake light would come on and other sorts of weird shit. Both flasher units replaced, but still no fuckin indicators. After pulling my hair out I finally figured out that the new repro turn signal switch is fucked. I pulled the little bitch out of the steering column and plugged it back in and it only works if you hold it tight and whisper sweet nothings into its ear, heres a pic of the little prick. My question is are there better quality ones? This one was put in by a professional shop a while back, its obviously the cheapest available. Apart from this I actually enjoyed today in the shed, kids all away for the day, Mrs hates me at the moment so it was like going to church. Kneeling beside my stang and calling out Jesus Fucking Christ regularly

See that you are a little peeved atm, so thought i would just take the liberty of toning down your language a little. I too have had a peeved day with the caddy side window cracking but there were little children around and had to suppress my feelings a little. Just do what i did, get tanked up Cheers

I've got a 67 in shop atm. Column is being replaced by a flaming river unit that comes with all the bits. Will have a look to see if i have the unit and if its serviceable.
No promises....hope i have it for you tho.
