Car looks amazing Lee.

Definitely gonna give some competition....just looks sensational

Got a question....Do judges over look the fender bolts/replacement bolts when judging for concourse in Oz?

Im using the same/similar replacement ones in the Boss for Mark and have had this discussion with a few people/judges here in the US aswell as in Oz

Also the paint markings Ive been discussing with Sherm that over here they are put on the components after the car is together rather than on a bench so that the drip/s run the right direction as they take that into consideration...its just crazy

good luck with it. Hope you see some bling

Matt

Q scored silver. The lack of 12 slotters/tyres would have cost me a lot. There was also dirt and dust...funny that since I've done nearly 2000kms on the road!

The guys did a great job judging and put on a good day. I will pretty much get the judging sheets and add the points lost from the incorrect wheels and dirt, leaks etc from driving it. That will give me an indication of how Q went from my point of view. There is no way I am putting 12 slotters on and leaving Q in the garage. This Q was made for driving and that's just what it'll do.

Time to menace the streets of Perth...after double demerits are over of course....

I would rather take silver than put 12 slotters on for sure - congrats on a good result.

Sorry, but how does dust make the car non-original? Or is that a presentation section?

Now I remember why I can't be arsed with entering shows.

Excellent result Lee, congrats to you and Kerry. I'm sure there are always bones of contention and subjective areas with judging. It's a knockout car, enjoy.

Congrats on Silver! How long until they get you the judging sheets?

How many cars there on the day?

How many cars there on the day?

~ 180 + another 50 or so out in the car park throughout the day...

No contention here at all. They judged Q against a consistent set of guidelines which I knew Q was going to be judged against when I entered. I just don't necessarily place the same importance on certain aspects of those guidelines...I'm not saying that they are wrong but just that concours and I have different expectations of classic car ownership so I will receive the judging sheets with that in mind.

Well done to all concerned. Silver is like gold anyhow, with out the wheels. Mine has not got them!!, cause then the tyres would be wrong Fap Fap
Be great to see the judging sheets when you get them!!

It just goes to show you that 12 slots make the car.
If you had simmon(d)s you might have got the wooden spoon. Stir the pot
Congratulations to you & Kerry.
There are some 12 slots for sale on the unmentionable forum, but they look that good they will probably cost $20,000. Drool

Well done guys - Q really is a credit to all who worked on her.

It's bloody fantastic you are winning Gold and or Silver in my book!!

Lee, l also commend you for having the attitude of enjoying this fine machine and getting it out on the road Ò€¦.JMHO - these cars were made for driving not to be parked in a shed and hidden away only to come out to get dusted off and shown to a select few on rare occasions.

No doubt you , Bec and Kerry are as proud as punch Ò€¦and so you should be !

Thanks for allowing us all to share in your glory !
