So the cam i have for my 30thou over 390 is marked 292 E963P with an A stamped on it as well , i love a lumpy cam but is it actually too big to be street friendly ??

The larger the capacity of the engine, the smoother a cam with a certain spec will be.
So your cam is showing .514 valve lift @ 223 duration @ 0.050 cam lift.
The cam in my 347 (fairly mild) is .512 valve lift and 220 duration @ 0.050
I think that cam will be fine for the 390 even in street trim.

Thanks Hybrid , was mainly concerned about having enough vacuum , after reading other forums ,will be running a 2000 stall converter , current diff gear is 3.00 open , so thats the next thing to sort out

It should be fine, on the street, Use an XB dual diaphram booster

Your can is mild for a 390. Need more information though I would expect it to idle quite smoothly with a slight rumble. You will be fine in terms of vac.
I will someday think of something clever to say.
