After helping out Pete with the look of his Mustang build up I decided to get my butt into gear and mock up what I have in mind for the bodywork on my car now the engine is finished. Like Pete, I'm building this car for me and I'm no traditionalist but would still be interested in others opinions.

So what do you think?

Before

After

I do quite like the before, but the after will certainly stand out. I love white interiors as well with the darker exterior colour.

I like the after, the 1/4 vent just dosnt seem to work on the coupe and vert.
Reg may require keeping the side markers though.
Actually scrap that last comment, as I see your over the pits.

Great Job.....the whole thing looks sleek in my opinion.I like the bonnet, it gives it that slighty agressive touch which is cool.

I love it. Big fan of the blacked out grill surround. I will be doing that also. May have to send you some shots of my car later Bluntman so you can work your magic.

Thought I'd get a couple of negative comments so thanks guys, glad to see there are others that share my taste.
I plan on getting the interior re-done to in off-white leather to match the roof and will be getting XR8 seats retrimmed in the mustang design. Also the stripes on the bonnet will be white pearl like they have in the new subaru and toyota ranges.

Cage - No worries, happy to help out as long as you don't expect a really fast return.

Jack - Keen to see it. I'm pretty set on the torque thrusts but just deciding if I want the black or gunmetal centres, PM sent.

will the white match the roof if you go the white colour codes you mention?

Cheers,

Thats a tough question. I think so which is why I chose it, but you might think it doesn't.

could you not colour match the roof?

Soc or Jaz may be the better person to gimme in for the easiest way to match.

BTW I really like your design looks tough and clean looking

The roof is a little to cream for me to want to match it. Thats why I was thinking white pearl, because its not quite white and a little different.
I'm painting it myself though so if I'm not happy I'll just do it again.
