Just to toss another idea in there, how about a set of Budniks - www.budnik.com/roadwhe...9&pg=1

Yeh. That's the wheel I was hoping to link to.
Haven't seen them on a Mustang, but think they would look awesome.

I think someone else asked for a quote not long after and the price was nowhere near as good.

That was Shane427 got quoted for 17x7 montereys from mrWheelDeal - $2600 + 400 shipping
I got quoted $969 plus shipping the same as the Nitrous.
He did say that special order rims that are not in stock, like the Nitrous with 4.75 bs as they only came in 4.5bs were around the $2500 mark

I also got a quote for the 17x7 Montereys back then and mine was also around the $2600 from memory. When I questioned the price he said that it was because he didn't have a listing for the 65 Mustang and was quoting for a custom built set.
Even at that price it is still cheaper than purchasing them here.

I like the FOOSE Happyone.
If you like the Hopster checkout the Foose Genuine, you may like them as well.

Obviously i have a soft spot for Torque Thrusts Smile

But i think your car would look fantastic with the Foose Legends and lowered to suit.
.

cheers

Thanks Rob - by the sounds of it the Foose rims could win out depending on the quote l get back.

l will also need to make sure there are not going to be any issues if they only come with a 4.5" backspace - l dont want to be stuffing around with rolling the wheel arches.

4" l think was the standard they come in on my cureent wheels ?

l still like the Torque Thusts but as everyone says - there everywhere ...just want something a bit differant.

Cheers

Happyone

l just recieved an email from Mr Wheel Deals - Unfortunately he cant get anymore Nitrous wheels ...bugger !!

He has offered up the Hopster wheels but stated they are a special order 4-6 weeks and about $900 more expensive than the ones l can buy from Mustangs Unlimited (maybe they are a Foose one ??)

He quoted $1939 set plus $318 AIR Freight (freight component l thought was very good!!)

Have sent him another email explaining that l can purchase the Hopster wheels from Mustangs Unlimited, with the correct 4" backspace for $269 each.

l have also asked if he could explore other more affordable options and will await to see if he comes up with anything.
