Can't recall as I ordered them a while ago.

Have a chat to Mark at Capital Classics, and see what he thinks is possible.

The trim colour may have been a special order. It won't be a problem getting the rear cover. The car they came out of has the original seats back in it with the same trim. I can't get hold of him though until he gets back from holidays.

OK cage, spill the beans as I may have stuff here suitable for the project. I am still finding stuff from our move back from the US that I forgot I had.

This is just one section of the shed with wheels & tyres. The boxes have parts for flameman's 66 fastback that is here.

Haven't quite worked it out yet Kerry. One thing that is for sure is that the car will now take a lot more time as the likelyhood is it will be completed stripped back and restarted. Firstly we will get it structurally 100% then I will get the mechanics sorted while all the panels are off and then back to Steve for the bodywork and interior. This may take the next 12 months to get all this done and to find the magical money tree. Once the plan is worked out I will let you know the details Kerry that is for sure. I need to sort out the wheels though. What do you think of these?

Really should not ask my opinion on wheels as I am probably close to a "purest" when it comes to style.

67/8 I like the stock type wheels, a Torque Thrust wheel would be my first choice, with the dark center...

next would be the polished center...

the "Daisy" is also a favourite (currently on Carol's Mach1)

cannot go past the Magnum wheel, the 69 Boss 302 type being my favourite...

however even the 12 slot wheels you have, would look good if blasted & painted a good silver & completed with hubcaps & dress rims...

Saying all that, I have no concept of what you are trying to achieve, so probably pointing you in the wrong direction.

Cage, what about using factory parts/options to make something from the late 60's?
I'm doing that with the convertible. Won't be correct concourse wise, but will fit the era the car was built.

Sorry Moe but will probably go in the complete other direction. More of a slight concept change to the current lines with modernised interior, big wheels custom paint etc etc. Hopefully one day I will be lucky enough to own two mustangs and I will guarantee you with the second one it will be 60's style.

No not that full on just a very tasteful, sleek, beautiful ride Moe. Funny though I did speak to Steve about a 6sp sequential box. I love those things. Wonder if it would be possible to put the Ford FG 6 speed sequential into it on a windsor 302.

Wheels are a hard one as it's all down to taste. Like Kerry said he likes the more traditional type wheels. For me those type of wheels on my car, well I couldn't get them off fast enough. I still like em on other peoples cars, just not for me. I love v5 Simmons but I know blokes that hate them as hard as that is to believe Smile

True, I currently have 4 sets for the convertible. 2 traditional, one weird bogan look, and the other more modern. Also have the original wheels and hubcaps.

Bogan look rims are just the thing for when it gets painted!
