thinking of upgrading to alloy headson the new motor build are there any draw backs to them such as fitting issues blowing gaskets stuff like that
I know pro comp stuff is cheap but I have heard good and bad about it their heads are on the cheap side but was told to get em checked out before install and they should be fine as im not chasing massive hp out of em

any pros and cons would be good

After the cost to machine their heads properly, you might as well buy decent ones.
No real drawbacks, but they will warp easier if you cook it.

What engine are you building??
If it's a Clevo like you currently have these heads of boofs won't fit.

Second that, very nice heads put a set on a 393 Cleveland a couple of years ago, with a mild roller cam it was 490/490 on it's first dyno pull.
