Hehe, well enjoy those sleepless night mate and get ready for the $$$$$.

In all seriousness I reckon you need to pick whether you want a manual or auto. That would be the first decision to make. Once you make that then your options are less and you can go from there.

For auto an AOD with that much power you are talking about may be difficult however Hybrid could comment better on that. The C4 will be no problem obviously but if you are running any more that 3.0 in the rears you will want an overdrive. Only option is GV. I looked into the local 4speed boxes but moved away from that pretty quick.

What about a coyote with the ZF six speed sequential? Not sure it would fit in a 65/66 and cost a bomb I suppose.

Jesus, I'm happy for you to spend my money, but you're dipping into my kids inheritance ha ha

I've priced up a coyote swap and it would be in the $30g+ easy, and it would be less powerful than what I have now.

Motor wise I have everything now for 400-500rwhp, it's just how long the block lasts.

Manual or auto manual or auto.....I will have to sleep on it.....again

Haha, I thought about manual for a little while but I just think autos work really well and the C4’s are so bulletproof for high HP. You can still use the gears in the auto if you want or even fully manualise them if you want. A beast of a motor like the one you want in Sydney with a manual may become a bit of a pain in the arse and leg for that matter. In the country maybe a different story though.

Your choice is Toploader with GV, TKO or T56 find TL and fit the OD later, though I'm looking for TL for an 351 (well more likly 408)XB Fairmont project and they seem to have gone up in $. I may fit GV in my 67 yet once its on the road.

One more con to the TR6060 from an FG...The Ford version has no drive for the speedo cable and thats why they are usually cheaper than the Dunnydore model. And even then it's an electronic drive so you need a converter to run the speedo cable.

You can get GPS speedo's in different sizes, may go that way if I ever get round to my 69.

That's not bad for an apparently reco'd bullnose. You certainly couldn't land a new David Kee one for that. Shame about the billet cover though.

Thats a long tail housing one by the look no good, not sure its a Bull nose either looks like a normal one to me. everything up to 390 was normal input shaft. The gears are same its only input and main haft that changes which you can buy new, was only a couple of years a ago you could buy them for 500, but lately guys want all sort of coin for them. They are easy to rebuild parts a cheap, pretty much just chuck them together. You see them on Unfinished project for ok money from time to time. I know Woody had a couple from T/A race cars that they swapped to G-force boxes which a really a super T10 you can buy the new in both syncro or dog box, the G-force that is.
