Moving or extending should have been part of your build plan.
That is why it took us so long to find a house. I was not going to compromise on that at all.

Although I have a couple of bikes to garage too.

Got a bit done yesterday with the front end thanks to Kerry and Hybrid. Came into a few problems as always with needing to move the trans cooler and aircon lines due to fouling with the valance and bumper brackets. Also some other things that slowed it down but still happy with the progress.

Thanks to Kerry and Jeff for taking their time out to help and also George for coming around to say hello in the arvo.

The boys having a crack at the bumper.

Got the bonnet scoop on as well.

Headlights buckets in also.

Next week will plan to finish off the grill assembly, spotlights, headlight and blinkers. Then engineering.

Yep, agree Lee. Thanks mate, I think it is the go. I have a bloody single garage too so the extra protection is a must.

You could always see if nassi will lend you a bit of padding from his room..... Snigger

Getting close now. Looking great.

You can almost smell it.

I will someday think of something clever to say.

Have the first mock up of the centre piece to the console too Boof. Will pay around with that also on the weekend.

A couple of centre plate mock-ups for the console to try on Saturday. The one closest to the console has a cut out for the handbrake. Test fit time.

What is the mock up made of and what tools did you use to make it?

2mm aluminium sheet. Started with a CAD drawing, then CNC Router, then a CNC press for the bends.

Wow - excellent work. I am (still) making my console and I started many months ago. I spend a few hours each week on it. Getting much closer to covering it now. The critical stage.

I am looking forward to seeing your car once your able to take it home (or just about to) - the first run out of Steves.

You will be there Boof when it takes its maiden voyage. I reckon a nice drive to Duggo would be the go.
