Sweet....
I'll bring the new American auto wire harness (did not come with old one) and switches.

The AAW doesn't have the complete wiper harness, unless it's changed since I got mine. It only comes with the power cable to connect to the original harness. Pretty sure the AAW instructions say this somewhere.

You might need to get one.

So what did you do after smoko?

The word "swims" upside-down is still "swims".

Excellent work - I even admire the spot welds - nicely made and spaced out. Lots of skill with real panel work going on. Love the skills shown.

I will someday think of something clever to say.

So while I wait for George to come & take us to dinner, I kept on with the conversion ..... Impatient

The wipers. To make the wiper arms sweep the opposite way & park correctly, the following is done;

Remove the clip holding the arms to the center link, remove the arms (remembering which side they are on), then remove & rotate the center link 180 degrees (that way it will "park" on the opposite side). Pic shows center link rotated .......

I will now drill the motor mounting bracket off from under the dash, bolt the motor to it & refit to the RH side using temp fasteners until I have the whole unit working correctly. For that John, I need the wiper switch & the old under dash wiring harness ....... Poke

Wiper motor mounting bracket cut & welded so it conforms to the opposite side of under the plenum ......

Mounted the motor to keep the bracket in shape for test fitting ......

Original motor ..... Like

In place for testing ......

Windshield in place to check wiper sweep. Arms are now back off & will go on once I have wired the motor & made sure all is configured correctly .......

John, hope your car is going to be an auto as there does not seem to be a lot of room for a clutch pedal due to my wiper motor mount setup .......

Nope it's a 5spd manual Kerry, can't make it too easy for you. Plenty of room if you move those timber blocks out of the way.
The old auto pedal is going to be the dead pedal footrest.
