Good point you are making. In any case, I still think in most cases car would be better off not running a rear bar. I just wanted one. If I track it, I would pull one link off to neuter it.

I will someday think of something clever to say.

Thanks for the photos Shaun. Great to see it all installed like that. Sounds like a good plan. I'll opt for the traction bars and some good shocks and see what needs doing re springs and bushes. I was thinking about a 3/4 rear sway kit but as you say, easy to bolt on later.

I have a brand new rear sway bar here. Reason it is hanging on the wall, I don't like them.

ShaunP & Boof's advice is spot on.

Funnily enough I've never had axle tramp. The only issue for me is the side-to-side motion of the rear end. AFAIK mine is completely stock.

Maybe some urethane bushings would help?

Ah the rubber ones on mine look like 67 vintage so anything should be an upgrade.

The PO put the full RRS kit in the front and forgot about the back.

Have a set of OEM Traction Masters that will fit right on I am not using, new in the box. Stops the roll up Boof notes, without adding the potential for the issues that can come with a rear sway bar (they were rarely used on Mustangs)

Was going that route and decided for a street car they were really irrelevant. PM me if interested.

The EXP I posted pics of is stock (new) Eaton springs, and Bilsteins. Rides fine. No other speed-merchant add-ons needed for it to drive fine on the street...

sums it up pretty well. Good on a track car if you want to replace them every few months.
