I actually have a surplus oval Cobra filter suit single 4 bbl (which was on my thing when I got it). Might look nice colour coded to your valve covers? If you plan to run a tower brace or a big dizzy it would probably not be an option though. Or maybe it's not an option 'cos you just don't like it. If you are interested, the beer economy works for me.

Thanks Doug - would you mind keeping it aside for the moment?
SP and I were discussing a setup using the oval style air cleaner last night.
All depends on the engine height when fitted.

Cheers

J

No worries John, I'll hang onto it for you. It actually has a spacer ring with it (from memory about 1" high). If you want it for test fitting let me know and I can send it to you, obligation free.

It's this site that asks for the web page name.

That's because you are using the URL button.
When you're copying from photobucket, you don't need to use any of the buttons in your post.
Just paste straight in what you copied from photobucket.

All the tags required to make the image show are already in what you copy.

The Filter Boofhead has is a bit shorter I think, then the cobra one think it clears the dissy. but fits nicely in the scoop maybe Boof could post a picture of his filter and scoop.

I can bring the car around on your next visit (assuming it is mobile at the time). Otherwise, I can take some photos.

I will someday think of something clever to say.

A couple of pics with the bonnet closed if you don't mind Boof, I may have to make a decision before my next visit.

Cheers

Body almost ready for colour - just need to sort out the engine height/bonnet scenario first.

Cheers

Brakes look killer - can't do better than a hand made setup.

The boys earned that beer today Drool

Ray at " Knights old school brakes" in Wynnum replated the calipers for us, looks great, hopefully get the engine and box in, in the next couple of weeks so we can cut the hole in the bonnet for the air cleaner. Then a final tidy up prior to colour.

Wheels have arrived - different take on the styled wheel in 15 x 7's all around

Decided against the 18" Streeters with the 5 leaf reverse eye's, Bilsteins & King Springs etc going in, the extra sidewall making it more comfy on the road.

Cheers
