Help with testing

Post by hybrid »

If you have some time, please go to the URL below and have a play.

https://www.mustangtech.com.au/phpBB3

It's not "live" yet and is still being developed further. So what you post there will not be permanent and the site will be unavailable at times for tweaking.
Once it's ready, it will replace the main URL for the website.

I think the forum is mostly converted OK. Now I need to see what I can do with our gallery, TechZone, calculators, downloads etc

I'm not 100% sure about the user migrations.
Mine has worked OK, but we have different password mechanisms on this website, so what worked for me may not work for others.

Thanks Kerry.
I think I've successfully written a migration tool for the gallery as well based off a small amount of testing.

Downloads and Calculators are also done.
I think that pretty much covers the areas that are mostly used here.

Will give it another day or two of testing and then pull the trigger.

Looks good. Nice layout and neat menu.
All works fine and I'm still using macOS Mojave desktop.
Same for iPhone.

Did both of you actually log in, and your password worked OK? If so, that's a big win.

Yeah there's been some weird cookie issue after the previous server died.
Mine has gone back to normal now though.

But yes that should be resolved on the new backend because it will use a different cookie entirely.

Works well on my Sony Android phone. Layout is good and can easily navigate with no layout issues.
