65/66 Mustang length without guards

Post by Shayne93 »

Hi all,

I need to get my unfinished mustang into a loading dock, sideways, however the roller door isn’t wide enough.

If anyone has a 65 / 66 mustang in bits, can you measure from the radiator support panel back to the most rearward point of the car (taillight panel I think - when rear bumper is off).
If this works, I can take the front guards off to get it in.

Would be greatly appreciated, as no one in town has a rotator tilt tray that I’m aware of.

I use wheel dolly's to spin my car around in the garage.

I have a set of those but the problem is that the dock is a meter off the ground. So the issue is getting it up and in.

I got 4.35m from front of hood bumper mounts to the taillight panel. Measured it without taillights, bumpers, extensions etc.

I always used a fork lift with slippers on the forks. That is how I got them up in containers.
