Attention coupe owners - insurance

Any coupe owners want to share with me what their coupes are insured for? PM is fine if you don't want it public.
I was told by a repair shop that my car is seriously underinsured and I wanted to fix that, but LSV's max value is 40k.

There is no way I could replace my car these days for that amount.
As much as I don't want to go back to Shannons after they screwed me, I may have no other option.

I have insured my 67 Coupe unfinished project with Ryno for 80K.....but this is undervalued for what I have spent so far.

I have my 67 coupe insured with LSV for more than $40K. They are bullshitting you! Although, it could be that you have one of the not so popular ones!!!

Hi,

I've been with LSV for years at more then 40k, so can't comment if its a new thing. They have a range of box's to tick like GT, manual etc that can help. Can't remember if it was Shannons or LSV that wanted photos to get it to the value.

Yeah they have photos. I was told that 40k is the ceiling no matter what.
I guess it's time to look elsewhere.

before i sold my 67 coupe with the paxton setup , it was insured for $54K with Shannons. They basically kept increasing the insured value every year without me asking them. i started at $40K no issues.

Thanks everyone - I've gone back to Shannons since they were happy to insure it for the value I wanted without even seeing photos.
