Door rubbers

Post by 66STNG »

Installed new rubbers about 4 weeks ago. The doors at the bottom are now bulging out. They have not got any better over the month with the doors closed. Is there a way of softening them so the doors close better....

The hinge end is good, it’s bulging at the rear bottom section of the door. The top lines up, and the doors aligned well prior to rubbers being installed. I was thinking a heat gun may help??

The rare spares stuff helped a bit for me. Were they Scott Drake rubbers?
Some of theirs are terrible, but also one of the drake ones I bought had the Drake sticker over the top of the Daniel Carpenter sticker. The Daniel Carpenter rubbers seemed to be softer - at least back at the time I was buying mine.

get Daniel Carpenter rubbers and you will have no problem.

I had the same issue when finishing my FB.
Shit Scott Drake hard rubbers. Threw them in the bin and got the others .
All good.
