In a national TC meeting so nows a good time to update. Thanks to Kerry who has taken the time to assist me with this mod. BEST mod ever. Also hole punches and rivnuts are a must for any restoration. They are the best tools ever.
Heres some pics. Ive slowly played with this when i can..usually around midnight.
What was a shitfight of tangled cables running from 1 side to another and attached somewhere along the dash has now turned into an organised mess mounted on clips etc. Still a bit messy and could do alot better but i dont have the time to make it perfect and not really an issue. Its still structured and organised. Tagged/labelled everything keeping to a colour standard. I have a deadline and want to get driving again.
Very happy with the change. I literally have nothing relying on or routed / attached to the dash as far as wiring goes. Nice and clean. So should i want to remove (unlikely once done) its simple and noninvasive.
I do have some future mods i want to do that involve additional wiring but ill worry about that later as i dontknow where ill mount stuff.
Made a few last min changes. Decided NOT to put my gauges in the console but instead the legend will help with an idea that ill share later if it works out.
