Classic Mustang fuse panel clips

Post by lukep6470 »

Hi,

So my instrument lights are intermittent again due to corrosion on the fuse clips in the OEM under dash fuse panel. Has anyone found replacement clips outside of the Scott Drake ones that are a total rip off.

It's funny but I'll happily spend thousands on something to make the car better/faster but am a real tight a$$ when it comes to the OEM replacement stuff :-)

I found that Mopar and Australian classic Fords use identical clips in their fuse panels as well. I also found NPD have a kit for a bit cheaper than Scott Drake but not much.

Easier to install a new blade fuse block..

Ugh was thinking about that. I already have a blade fuse/relay panel in the engine bay.

Just an updated. I decided to try cleaning the clips in the original fuse box using CLR and some cotton wool buds.

That got SOOOO much gunk off!!! All circuits are working properly. We'll see how long that lasts.
