Just rereading the thread. Do you have the subframe connectors? I have a new set here.

I was thinking of making some, will give you a call to talk about this and the dash. At this stage I'm looking at putting the IFS in. Roger

A bit more got done this weekend, had a workmate come and give me a hand to fit the IFS

Test Fit boxing plates

Fitting and welding in box plates

Welds

grinding plug welds
Image
Fitting cross member
Image
Needed to use mates welder on the heavier metal to get good penetration

Image

Crossmember welded in, cleaned up with wire wheel and flap disc
Image

Sway bar mounts welded in as well, ready for undercoat

Undercoated.

Pretty happy with this weekends work.

Must confess these are not my welds(wish they were) this is the work of my workmate the maintenance welder. Will be having him back for future work, I do love his welds
