I've got the knock sensor in mine. I could probably hook it back into the ECU now that I have the extra IO, but I removed the ECU input so I could monitor fuel pressure.
I still have a LED in the dash that flashes on knock so I can back off/fix it.
Problem is getting them reliable in an aftermarket setup. They are very susceptible to general engine noise and they have to be fine tuned to each different engine as well as the sensor being mounted in the right spot.

Not sure if the MS3 has the full knock sensing circuitry built in, but the MS2 was an off/on signal that would remove timing when triggered. It needs an external box to read the knock sensor and send that off/on signal to the MS. It's called KnocksenseMS from http://www.viatrack.ca/
I know the MS3 knock input is a variable signal rather than on/off, but you still might need some external driver - not sure.

Picked up the Tank from Exhaust Innovations this afternoon, and got pretty much everything else now ready to install with some help from Boof. Its 22 gal tank, I'll prime it and paint it 2k silver.

So the lines start out running to the rear of the car?

Yep the idea is make sure the fuel surge under acceleration is at the pick up and its is the lowest part of the tank regardless, the holes drilled in the original tank floor are a bit of a baffle. The other idea is that the spill return from the regulator back to the sump as well. I'll make plate that hangs in front of the tank to mount the pump and 2 filters. I'll use your nutsert idea but At the front I might put them in the tank flange rather that the floor and then bolt the pump bracket up from underneath. I may also go and get a fuel cooler from an old XJ6 as well and plumb that into the AC, not sure about that yet.

Hi,

I hate it when people say things after the fact but.....

I just looked into the ADRs for fuel systems as I just installed one of those FiTech swirlpots with the pump inside and it hangs down a bit. Anything lower to the ground than 200mm they would like to see a bash plate in front of it. I measured mine and the swirlpot is 220mm up.

Also they don't like to see fuel system components running near the rearmost panel for risk of bursting if some texting millennial rear ends you.

This is a photo of the rear view of my new setup. Still 1/2 the price of replacing the Weldon pump.

ADR's don't apply to 67 mustang though. My pump and filters wont hang down I don't wont to see them.

If you're running solid lines (I'm running alloy), there should be some cooling just from lines alone unless they aren't exposed.
