Motorkhana day Sydney

Post by Husky65 »

Hey fellas,

I used to be a member of Skylines Australia when I had my skylines a few years ago. They are a cams affiliated club and they run a lot of track days and motorkhana days, which is why I still hang around a bit.

There is a motorkhana event on in Sydney on the 30th of Apr. It's just near Quakers Hill. I've done it a couple times before and it is a lot of fun, just a massive car park with tracks set up in cones, including go to whoa tests also. Here is the link https://store5191044.ecwid.com/#!/SAUNS ... y=10151434

I'm keen to give the stang a run and just seeing if there's anyone else who wants to join me. You don't have to be a member of the club, and you don't need a cams license as you can get a one day pass for $25. So all up it would be $90 if you weren't a member and you didn't have a cams license. Very cheap for the amount of fun, and it's a good place to test the car also.
The only thing the car needs is a fire extinguisher.

Let me know here, I don't want to be the only one there in an old car, cause if i break down I will be the laughing stock of the town 😄

Excellent - I would do it if I was able.
Hope the boys decided to go.
I use to do a lot of motorkhana events (aka Auto cross) in previous times (before the Mustang). Lots of fun.
I will someday think of something clever to say.

I would love to do this but I am not sure if I want to do it in my beast.

Now if I had a little MK1 escort with say MX5 running gear in it, that would be the go.......Kerry!

Cage - you should take the car. Go as easy as you wish. Just have some fun.
Learn more about your car (and driving it).
I will someday think of something clever to say.

I'd consider it... not that the car is set up for it.
