Yeah awesome mate. Isn't it great when you get something that just fits(apart from the yoke obviously).

Thanks guys, new yoke turned up today so that was quick. Let's hope it is a simple fix.

As Hybrid eluded too the solenoid on the GV is extremely close to my exhaust. Not sure what to do here but may need to modify the exhaust. A wrap will help but it is super close. Left hand side

Wrap and a dent will help for now. Buy a couple of mandrels the right size and we can fix it before it's back on the road if you want. Very easy job while it's on the hoist.

Move it. Do not leave it that close, wrapped or not.

Ok, been a while since an update. Where I left it was the GV was in but the yoke didn’t fit properly and the exhaust clearance was an issue. Gear Vendors jumped quickly on the yoke issue and after a couple of new ones were sent and a bit of white grease it slipped in nice so that was sorted.

Got the tailshaft shortened (it is quite a short one now) and spent some time today re-installing the tailshaft and modifying the exhaust thanks to the skills of Hybrid’s mig welding. A lot of fun actually getting the right bends etc. we actually nailed every cut first go which was a pleasant surprise. Photos of it all below.
