I notice I have to log in every time; I'm using Firefox; which remembers the password but every time I visit the site and want to reply; I have to log in again.
I've seen some sites have a 60 log in period; some are permanent; every time you visit on the same pc; you're always logged in.
Is the auto log out intentional or is there a setting I can change to make it permanent?

You must have Firefox not remembering passwords as I have no issue.StephenSLR wrote:I notice I have to log in every time; I'm using Firefox; which remembers the password but every time I visit the site and want to reply; I have to log in again.

You are not using the Firefox "New Private Window" are you?
If you are then that does not remember anything. Newspapers online only allow a few stories per month (Sydney morning Herald is 30 free stories a month or 10 if I am overseas) so I use the New Private Window & can keep reading. Works well with all overseas papers I read daily

It remembers the password; when I go to the log in page the password is sitting there in the password box; all I do is click 'log in'.ozbilt wrote:You must have Firefox not remembering passwords as I have no issue
This time when I replied I was already logged in but I've been surfing the web and hadn't closed down my browser since last posting.
It may be a setting?

It's a cookie issue and has been discussed previously.
You say you are using Firefox, so try this.
1) Go into Firefox Options
2) Click on Privacy
3) Towards the bottom you will see some text "You may want to clear your recent history, or remove individual cookies". Click on "remove individual cookies".
4) Type mustangtech.com.au in the search bar at the top of the window
5) clear all cookies with the site name of mustangtech.com.au
Close and re-open your browser and browse to the website. You will have to log in again, but it should remember it this time.
