Looking for 3D scanning and CNC

Post by Borgche »

Hi All

I'm trawling for some one willing to help with access to 3D scanning and CNC and the skills to use them.

I am doing a Right Hand Drive Conversion on my '65 mustang, or to be accurate ozbilt is, that is when he stops being an international man of mystery long enough.

Kerry has suggested 3D scanning the dash and glove box, mirror reversing the scanned image and CNC new billet items. That way a better more factory look, less cutting and shutting work as only the bottom of the dash needs to be swapped.

To make it more interesting I have a billet instrument fascia to scan. I'm only after one set so after that someone might have an interesting side line in billet RHD dashes for 65/66 mustangs.

I'm happy to pay machine and CAD and operator time if anyone's interested.
