Okay guys, slow weekend.

Hit 800 miles since rego, and spent most of the weekend tidying up the long list of 1 percenters that have popped up with the initial shake-down.

Got the GV out of its shipping box and here she is in all her glory!!

All in all a very high quality item, really looking forward to getting it installed!

So one thing I'm not stoked about is the 1980's retro RV style switch body they supply.

I've put quite a bit of planning into keeping the interior understated and stock looking ( to the untrained eye ) so I'm going to source something like this to swap it out.

Hey Ronin, I installed that bit on the lower dash lip on the left hand side (car is still LHD) . Not many actually notice it and it is out of the way.

I did not use the 'dimmer' switch that comes with the unit, in preference to a toggle switch that is mounted in the centre console; again such that no-one notices it.

One thing you might want to consider now is the gearbox speedo drive gears. Do you know what is in the unit you have? I know I had to change mine and this required a new housing. One housing does from 40 to 43 and another for 39 down to ??. Not too hard to source as it is all TH400 stuff.

Put a push button in the other side of your T bar shifter, to the lock button.

Photos Jacko! I need guidance!

Cage it's gonna be awhile till I can get this thing in. I have to live on base at Penriff during the week and don't have access to tools etc. my plan is to get everything prepped then go for the install.

Though with the amount of teaching I'm doing over the next 3 months I honestly don't think it's gonna be in before December????

Can you ask to live at Richmond?
They have these big garage thingies that are big enough for a plane!

I'd like one of those for the Mustang.
