Been a while since I've updated the thread. Still working my way towards the rear of the underside

The diff is out and the centre was rebuilt with a truetrac and 3.5 gears
Bought some new wheels

Because the wheels are 18x8 I had a rethink on on brakes

Probably not really necessary on my car but, they do look nice 330mm with PBR callipers and 303mm rear (BA Falcon)

Nice. Larger disk look better under the large diameter rims.
I will someday think of something clever to say.

Nice job cleaning up the underside of the car while it is still basically on the ground. That can't have been fun!!!!

Brakes will look good with the new wheels.

It's lots of fun...not!! It's taking a lot of time but I'm happy with the result. It's surprising how little rust there is given the coupe's 45 years old. The big killer for me is time now. In between work and 2 toddlers there isn"t enough time in the day to get things done. I'm down to mainly Sunday afternoons only. I want to start going down to the shed after the kids are in bed and doing non noisy jobs just to keep the project going. Still- progress is progress.

Welcome to the Forum of awesomeness Shaun
I haven't updated this thread for a while as I've hardly touched the coupe in the last 8 months or so. Donoauto must have been looking into a crystal ball because Baby #3 is due in January!!!!
I've been buying parts again, 400hp version of the Fitech EFI, a BA pump module and the EFI hardware mounting ring.

Hey, interested in how the fitech unit goes. I have the EFI 4 on the way together with the fuel command centre. It must be going via the moon or something as it has been back ordered three times now OR Sridah has been tasked with delivering it again and it is sitting up the street on one of the elderly folks front porches; old people rarely use the front door. They look to be a great unit.

Seems a sideways glance is all it takes! Lol. 3 kids under 4 is going to be a handful.
Ausjacko, I must've got lucky I got mine through Jegs on eBay and was here in a week. Their freight was cheaper than Summit and the quoted figure for taxes and import duty was lower too.

Hi Guys! Back for the yearly update. 3 toddlers are certainly keeping me occupied and away from the Mustang!! About all I've done in the last 12 months is look at the coupe once in a while and buy some more parts. I've got most of the gear together to put a borgeson power steering box in and I'm looking into using an Astra electric pump. Another part I'm looking at is the handbrake cable. I've got the hopper stoppers BA Falcon set up and they sell a modded vn commodore cable for use in X series Falcons. At $250 I thought it was a bit steep. Anyone else have any experience with this set up?

Cheers Shaun
