Yeah I've spoken to them before. Good to know, something to keep in the back pocket
Re: Project Pheonix
Hi guys
Just a snappy update, been busy.
.
New carpet installed, (poor fit).
Trimmed down the new seats and installed new runners, look good in the car. Just not sure to keep the head rests or remove??

What are the seats out of?
Re: Project Pheonix
Were the seat rails easy to modify for our mustangs? Could be a good option when decent ute seats aren't easily available.
Re: Project Pheonix
From a safety point of view I would be keeping the headrests. Helps save you from whiplash. Plus those seats just look dicky without them. If the top was smooth it may be ok.

There is 4 bolts that hold the original rails. I used the same points to attach angle iron to. Then bolted the rails to the angle iron to suit the mustang floor holes. It’s not that difficult just a bit fiddle.

Beautiful seats mate, yeah keep the head rests, they complete the seats. I have the same dash and gauges, just worried about using them for rego in case they classify it as a restomod and needs more engineering.
Re: Project Pheonix
Have you got any more photos of the seats fitted?
Curious how they fit in with centre consoles etc
I'm chasing some measurements for the 2017 rear seats to get an idea if they can be made to fit into the back of my 66 coupe for a matching set.

I will post some more photos and measurements as I want to do a console also. I have a rear set of 2017 seats and will be attempting to make them fit the old frames.. I hope, not sure how I’ll go, stay tuned....
