Has anybody imported an old Truck from the US?

Post by tim_morrison82 »

Hey Guys,

Has anyone imported a Truck from the US?

no, i am not talking F trucks, i am talking larger trucks like C series trucks?

would these only be shipped via roll on roll off method?

I am looking into another cool project, down the line.

Would depend on the width of the tray if you include it, containers are 2.4m wide but you would only get a 2.3m wide tray in there with 25mm each side to spare. Cabs are around 2.1m wide or smaller, height isnt really a problem because there are 2.6m H containers. also a car and parts can ride with it on the tray so cost would be down a lttle.

I honestly wouldnt bother there are plenty of old cool rhd trucks available in Australia, Mike and i have seen heaps on Gumtree.

Yes possible & I have looked into it. Can have a car on the back but cannot tow a trailer. Like WTF? It is a load regardless ......

Easier for someone like me to leave in CA & play with it there.
