I'm using the black speedo gear with my 3.55, I think it is 23 teeth.

Taking the dash cluster out I had to pull the plug for the wiper switch. On the new harness it is a rubber molded plug that goes on hard and came off hard - ruined the wiper switch when I took it off earlier.

So I got the emergency lights fixed, but the new wiper switch should be coming today.

After I get that back together and the cigarette lighter/ash tray - out for access to the nut on the backside of the cluster to dash - I will try to run it this weekend and see how the new speedo gear measures up if I get the time - holidays are crazy busy at work so haven't done much else for a while.

I hope Thanksgiving was great for you and your family Ryan. I can only assume you lost your spare cash on the Black Friday sales ..... :snigger:

All my family were in Sacramento celebrating, just Harry my Staffie and me at the Duggo Ranch ....... :joy:

Looks like a great day at the beach!

So I got the dash put back together, the only thing that doesn't work is the switch on the windshield washer foot pedal.

So I took the car out last night and ran through a few things - test drive #7. Everything seemed to work great and filled the tank with some gas for another test drive later this week.

Went out to the shop this morning and what the heck .... I smelled gasoline - the gasket at the fuel sender decided to leak.

After draining the tank I took the sender out and the gasket was in good shape except one small spot folded the opposite direction from the rest.

I had an extra gasket so I replaced it and put 8 gallons back in, no leak so far. Will put some more in tomorrow if not leaking.

Is there a better alternative to that fuel sender gasket?

If I didn't know better I would think this car likes to give me trouble.

Do you mean the gasket where the wire for the sender goes through the plate or the rubber looking oring thingie that seals the whole sender mechanism to the tank?

Yes, we have pineapple pizza, but beetroot on burgers I have not seen.

I tried vegemite once and that was enough!

On another note - is it true the toilet water flushes counter clockwise below the equator?
