Today is blue slip day - going on modified club rego, no brainer really.
Over the past few weeks I've been concentrating on getting it ready for today - dialling in the Dakota digital dash, extended caster bars for a decent wheel alignment, first tune up - Trickflow heads need more fuel so bigger primary jets in the Holley 670, drilling a hole in the aftermarket fuel cap to allow the system to breathe, isolate the fuel pump from the chassis (can't really hear it on the road but would like it a little quieter), brake light switch adjustment plus a few other bits n pieces.
Looking to take it to the All Ford Day later in the month - should have a few local trips under its belt by then and be ready for a long stretch.

Cheers

And sort out the AOD shifting quality, think Hybrid may need to intervene there, So was I right there was no breather in the cap?

Blue slip done - I reckon another week to get the club rego sorted then on with the plates.
I’ve had a matching set sitting at the rms for a few years - I can’t use them, think my current hold period finishes in November, there’s been whispers of you being able to use personal plates on conditional rego - let’s hope it comes through in the next couple of months, not holding my breath tho...

Plates on today - the dreaded green/white skateboard size front and rear.
Bought the full Holley jet kit and fuel pressure gauge, see if we can’t get the fuelling right.
Looking forward to AFD.
