No, it is the one we found in San Francisco last November. It is #10 (pre & post WWII MG's) we have built complete and we estimate we have built at least 7 or 8 more tubs (the main body part) over the years.

BTW, the first MGTC we built in the US (I had built some in Australia prior to moving over there) is under the car cover behind the car being worked on & the first MG I built over there (an MG TD) is above it on a 4 post lift.

No idiots doing burnouts, all stop for the national anthem and this one was in the week of remembering 911, so was honoring first responders.

Bugler in the local band played Taps (Last Post). All went silent across the whole cruise night. It was special.

Attending over here is why I don't attend much in Australia.

Hi all, I have not been here much lately. Took on a full time task of bushfire recovery. As president of the local area's men's sheds (4 of them in our shire, soon to be 6) my task is recruiting men to work the roster, handing out tools and just listening to impacted residents.

I have been working with the local CWA ladies who initiated this (Mrsozbilt being one of them) at the Recovery Center at Balmoral in the Southern Highlands.

Days I am not working at the recovery center, I am at meetings or giving talks on what we are doing.

It is a full time task helping those that have lost so much. Our area covers those impacted by fire from Warragamba to Wingello.

Jacko visited a while back and I will let him tell you of his impression.

We started while most of the fires were still burning and see this recovery operation going for a couple of years. We are the "go to" people as we are not bureaucrats, therefore can react immediately to any given issue.

I am still around, so will pop in here when I can to say hi. If you are out this way, or any impacted areas (like the South Coast) come and spend a bit of time and money.

Some great work going on there. Some of the 'official agencies' should take a look at what is happening to deliver actual help and support. Great job Ozbilts!

A very enjoyable, but sometimes emotional, task. Good news is it is being led by great people and I have hooked back up with many guys that were in Apex with me back some 30 years ago.
