Re: My ride
My baby is a 65 A code auto, pretty much stock as rocks which was purchased from San Francisco December last year (thanks to Matt and Sheri). Arrived in oz around may after taking the slow boat behind Japan around the time they were going nuclear (that might explain the healthy green glow at nights, no need for any fluoros underneath)Foresight wrote:
More info please!
Since then Ive replaced all the front and rear suspension, added new brake lines and power steering lines, fixed the rust in the floorpan and its just about to get a new carby to make it roadworthy and then im finally on the road. Now when i say Ive replaced it really means i have paid someone to. The plan was to do it myself until after 2 months of no progress the mrs saw me under the car using the ever so safe method of having it up on bricks, she had no problems paying someone to do it after that, apparently thats an unsafe way to work on cars
Re: My ride
Nice clean looking car, such a pity no detailed stats for 65 as I am guessing the blue/blue combo with a bench seat and A code would be pretty unique.
It seems a lot of the cars on here are imported with a kid in the drivers seat.

Re: My ride
yeah apparently the bench is pretty uncommon, guy doing the car for me (and hes done a few) hasnt even seen a bench in SA. Removing the kid that come with it has been more difficult than removing the rust though

Are u doing much cruising ?
It was a beautiful day here in Adelaide after a shitty cold/wet day yesterday.
I also took my beast out this morning also and again this afternoon for good measure.
Seen a nice dark green 67 and a nice dark grey/silver 67 out also.
Gotta love good cruising weather.
