I wanted to do that when I built mine but the fuel rails hit each other on a 302 manifold. You might be able to do it on a 351?

Otherwise you need to drop a bomb on something like this:

Shifter fitted, clutch hydraulics all done, got an nice braided clutch line from Mal Wood gearboxes that he sells to replace plastic ones on X series falcon's, look nice and neat, but then I find out that Ray at Knights Ole school brakes 2km from home makes them for him, oh well, just need to bleed it. Will start fitting the Exhaust tonight ready for it to do get the headers made. I bent the shifter a little so it doesn't point to the left.

Hell yeah, I love my hydraulic clutch. I'm sure if it ever leaks I'll hate it though

Mine is on the outside so it's no issue $60 for a new cylinder. I happened to have an Australian Falcon top loader bell housing with the mount cast into it. Falcons were always hydraulic

Yeah an external slave is the way to go if you have any problems. I always thought about adding an external slave if I ever go to a T56

Fitted up the Flow master exhaust last night fits great but the clamps wont close up the Pypes Race-pro mufflers tight enough, may need to cut bigger slotts in the the end tubes

They look very hand made those mufflers don't they?
Looking forward to hearing them - they're on my list when I have money to burn.

You can get marman flanges to solve this issue, nor sure if they have them here in aus.

Or aircraft supply. I have the clamps ( 2 1/2" ) and 3" rings that we used on the race cars. Not hard to do.
