Stacked my Mustang last week...

Was driving home from town on Monday 7th - very tired, stop n go traffic. Looked over at the speed cameras above the entrance to the tunnel (west-bound) then looked back to see the traffic in front of me had stopped.

FARK!

Cue - rapid deployment of all stopping devices followed immediately by the release of 2 airbags and the sound of headlights, bonnet, guards & bumper all getting a Mazda 3 modification.

Jas can probably post the before shots, but a bit of a bugger - however I did have the impression that the car rode better once it was prnaged! I'm sure the steering was straighter...

Funnily enough, the Maz3 owners (I hit one onto another Maz3) were pretty good - one lived next door to a friend (feck!) and the other was ok (his MPS wasn't too happy) but I did apologise to both....

Hardest thing with this is the scarcity of parts for it in australia.

I am actually having to import some bits for it.... Lets see what RACV attempts to do to my estimate in the morning.

They will shit themselves on the freight. I have had dramas with listing freight as a line item on quotes with some insurers. One way around it is to break it up & include it on each parts list price. Pain in the ass but stops them getting weak kneed. Hopefully you get an assessor that has a clue.

Yep, been through that garbage.
Try Environmental charges and things like that.... the equipment they insist we have but don't want to pay to use is ludicrous.
