Just got back from Patong a couple of weeks back and you will certainly do a lot of :drink: if my experience is anything to go by. Cheap as chips and a great place, hope you enjoy it.

Thanks guy's

The ignition slowed me down again tonight but with persistance & several coffee's it's back in place along with wipers & headlight switch.
Another coat of paint on the trapdoor & also realised tonight that I hadn't painted the ashtray so painting not finished...damn!!

Shooting for completion by Monday 10th Oct (Revised date for 5th time)..lol

Still need to fix the seat rail stud that I managed to snap several weeks back but once dash pad edging is fitted, I can start moving towards the rear section... I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel..

Well done Geoff!

Will you have it ready for the concours? If so I may come down to Melbourne for work and stay over to see it.

Hi all

Photo link on pg 1 updated again tonight with the re-assembly to date.

Bee, I certainly plan on having the Fastback ready for the Roundup..It won't be judged, certainly not in that class!

Jeez that's a great job Doc. Looking really top notch.
Is that a wee crack on 1 arm of the steering wheel near the boss, that I spy?
It is the main reason I replaced my original wheel with a sports steering wheel from Autotechnica!
Mine had cracks in 2 of the 3 arms and I just didn't trust it. Probably would have failed a roadworthy then too!

Hi all,

Its been some time since I was her last, been putting in some hrs on the Fastback so it close to finish for the Roundup tomorrow.

Rear seats, rear deck, panels & trim now fitted.
Saturdays effort will be installing the glovebox & door, refit the stereo & connect, instument cluster connection & fininish off the dash board by fitting the new heater demister ducts.

Front seats, seat belts, scuff plates & led taillights!
Few hrs there I feel but worth the time.

Oh well, can't sit here & chat..
Will report back later when I'm washing her..!
