Jiffy, this local motor that you speak of (chipped, 2.71), do they have a forum account? Id love to know about which chip/eec adapter they used and also which fuel tank/pump they went with. Oh and of course, whered they get their headers from.

That motor went into one of the 2001 Cobra's bought into Australia. The wiring harness in the engine bay needed to be replaced, the FPDM and the 03 fuel tank was used as was the 2003 ECU and gauge cluster. Also the radiator was replaced, and the front shocks...
The OEM 2001 headers from the original motor were used so it was all a seamless bolt-in job. Reprogram the PATS and turn key, have a tune developed and loaded to ensure the mixture was good, then drive home.

Ah thanks for that Jiffy. Rekeying/reprogramming PATS would certainly be allot easier than disabling it.
