lost my spare key can anyone help me as to where i can purchase new one and how to programme. bought two blanks from u.s. locksmith stuffed them up.

Have you got a working key at all?
Most good locksmiths now keep code cloning machines that can pull the programming from your working key & transfer to a blank. I'd ask at least 2 before re-ordering something from the states again.

yes i have been down the cloning path but because of the shrouded ignition those keys will not insert far enough.

I bought a key recently from Ford - $90 for the key, $12 to have it recut, then take the whole car & key to Ford and they will re-code it for you.
2002 SVT Cobra, 2003 Drive train, hood, bumpers, boot & spoiler, side scoops and soon - interior!!

Could be worse.... Mate with a Prado lost his ONLY key.....exit $500 for toymota to provide 1 key.....guess what, to do 2 was no less...his wife still doesn't have a key ROFL
