I've had good success with this ebay starter, cranks my 351 stroker over nicely - $180 with my eBay plus discount -

I signed up for the $5/month eBay plus and save $50 to $80 a month with all the discounts plus I get express post on just about everything.

I have a very different experience with these starters a few years back.
Mine lasted all of a few months before it started sounding like it was grinding away the flywheel. But I think the noise was coming from the internal gearing in the starter, not the flywheel.

Krisr from the forum had one last a short time in his car too, but he got a replacement one and that one has been OK since.
