Re: 390 overheating issues
I've been through this post again and picked up on something you stated. You claimed that the water and crank pulleys looked the same diameter. They are not. I just measured mine and it is 185mm diameter to the outside lip of the back groove which runs the water pump.(C8AE-6312-A) Can you confirm th...

Re: 390 overheating issues
Without seeing your car, is the flow of air to the front of the radiator impeded in any way? Like aftermarket grill, lights, aircon condenser, oil cooler, even an oversized licence plate…that could be blocking fresh air from coming in.
Also, have you installed a quality coolant?

Re: 390 overheating issues
No problems at all. Happy to offer any input. (The benefit of retirement is patience for me) I will post a photo of my engine pulleys. You will note that the water pump pulley is smaller than the crank pulley. BTW: my Mustang is a 1968 390 GT as per factory original. I have never had an issue with c...

Re: 390 overheating issues
Water pulley diameter should be 148mm. Crank pulleys changed from 67 to 68 so you would need to confirm sizing. I am by no means an expert or a mechanic as such but from experience I learnt a lot working on my own car. Logic would suggest that an upgrade/improvement has had an adverse effect on anot...

Re: 390 overheating issues
Yeah thought so - but I gathered that I would state the obvious for the sake of doubt.
My next point would be the water pump. As in correct pulley/speed of operation at idle, i.e. the pump is not pulling efficiently at low revs to facilitate circulation.

Looks good. Nice layout and neat menu.
All works fine and I'm still using macOS Mojave desktop.
Same for iPhone.

Re: Using a different tracker
The box it was in is pretty basic.
The unit was given to me in working order and I access it through an App called TKSTAR GPS but this app doesn't accomodate multiple units.
Device model says TQ.
I'm not tech savvy at all so I apologise in advance.
