Recommended mechanic in Brisbane Bayside
Any recommendations on a good mechanic around Wynnum to do regular services on my 1966 K-Code?

Re: Dyno tuners Brisbane bayside
Thanks, mert. I'll ring White Racing and see what they recommend.
There's no problem with it: it starts, idles and runs well. I've never had a car on a dyno, and this one deserves it.

Re: Dyno tuners Brisbane bayside
Nothing. It seems to be running a bit rich, but otherwise everything seems fine. I just want it checked out and tuned.

Dyno tuners Brisbane bayside
Can members recommend a dyno shop near Wynnum-Manly? I need someone familiar with Autolite 4100s. Those I've spoken to have suggested I swap mine for a Holley, but I want to keep the Autolite.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Radiator capacity and auto trans cooling
He had told me that it had a built-in trans cooler but I had forgotten. His concern was about its capacity.

Re: Radiator capacity and auto trans cooling
You're correct. I just crawled under it with the torch and saw that it DOES have the trans cooler in the bottom of the radiator. That shows how much I have to learn!
I'll keep it original and maintain it properly.

Secondly, my mechanic suggested I consider fitting a radiator for the auto trans. What's the opinion of members on the need for...

Fuel for HiPo
I'm inspecting a 1965 K Code tomorrow with a view to buying it.
The 1965 owner's handbook says that its 10.5 compression ratio requires super premium fuel. What octane rating and/ or additives do K Code owners here use?
Thanks.
