Re: XF arms and spindles into a 70
I got XF steering box, XF idler , a modified and tested drag link. Found some XE stubs.
Is there anyone who can give me measurements or templates for re drilling the mounting holes in the chassis rails for the RHD steering box and idler?

1982 RHD Mustang dashboard
Hi All
Im in the process of buying of an 82 Mustang. Im wondering if someone can tell me where to buy a RHD dash board from?
I know they use a Cortina steering rack so that side is sorted.
I converted my 66 Stang so know the drill .

Re: Rack & Pinion conversion kits
225/40ish/17'scool and it still ok, what size tyres
It comes down to what you think is heavy and what is ok. We are all different and have different expectations. The heaviest steering car I have driving was an Escort with a quick rack.......now that was heavy.

Re: Rack & Pinion conversion kits
Why did you get a manual one? It was a simple fit and the use of the car for light competition, I don't like the feed back or lack of a power rack gives. I was surprised at how light the steering was. At normal driving speeds the steering felt the same as power unit. When parking it was heavier but...

Re: Rack & Pinion conversion kits
I fitted a RRS RHD Manual rack to my 66 and I thought it was dramatic improvement over the sloppy steering box.

Re: 351 roller dissy
Seems to run ok. Yeah needs a bit of tuning but it's running which is the hard part.
What about some details on how much it cost and where you got it from?

Re: 351 roller dissy
Each to their own. Alot of the American ECU's are fuel only, the system I am leaning towards is fuel only. Like I said I have had both set ups and prefer them to be seperate or stand alone. I have spent hours changing timing points, trying different maps. So to me changing 2 springs in a dissy is si...

Re: 351 roller dissy
first reason is that the EFi will be down the track so knowing the Dissy I have now will produce a signal an ECU can read (trigger from) is good. Second is i have had a few Wolf V4 ecu engines in the past and found that once set I never really played with the ignition after that ,so a good dissy tha...

Re: 351 roller dissy
I just read up on the dissy you suggested and have added it to my next Summit order. I will get the 6al and blaster coil with it as well. I like the way you can change the rev limit and changing the springs for advance changes seems easy. I also like the way they say an ECU can read the output as I ...
