C4 Auto cycling between 2-3 shift
Have a rebuilt early C4 with 50kms on it in a 66. The shifts between 2-3 at around 60kph are cycling (sometimes called shuttling) back and forth when the slightest load is applied to the box. It also does the same thing around the 80kph mark under similar load. If you accelerate through the range pa...

Re: 3/8 Fuel line routing
Thanks, 69/70 route sounds fine. Now Nuts no attributing nick names to it yet. Paid the painter a visit today and its coming along, just needs a final buff and some small parts done. It will be back home end of next week.

3/8 Fuel line routing
Upgrading to 3/8 fuel line in a 66, motor requires it. 66 has 65 convertible torque boxes fitted. Can I run a 67/8 2 piece line? i'm unsure about the routing of the 67/8 line when it gets around the front chassis rail extension.
If you've done this what line did you use?
thanks

Thanks for the feedback.
Kerry If you're going to the show Sunday I'll chuck them in the car and try to catch up with you. Maybe you could say if its worth trying to save them.

Sika 252 / door skins
Did my door skins a while back with Sika 252.
Had someone suggest to me that using it on the door intrusion bar was not a good move as it may swell when in the booth. I'm sure its ok but...
Anyone ever had an issue?

Re: Resto paint sequence
Thanks for the input, always good to hear what others have done.
NUTS - its only been just over 2 years. Would have been quicker if if I didn't have to replace most of the sheet metal.

Resto paint sequence
Getting close to painting the 66 Coupe. Car is currently on a trolley setup, bare. Paint will COB, primary colour with no pearls/ metallic etc. Underside to be body colour tinted stoneguard (can’t remember the brand). They use it on Porsche’s I’m told. Question is whether to just get it done i...
