I have not purchased any skidbreakme tools in the last 40 years because they were crap and caused me many injuries.

thats funny, maybe it was user error.

Ive always had their spanners/sockets etc and never had a sidchrome tool break on me in the last 30 years.
maybe you bought knock offs.

In the late 70's and early 80's all their blanks were made in India. and I think their chroming was done off shore also. The chrome peeled and the sockets split. At the time I was doing a lot of falcon head gasket jobs. went to Dufor sockets with no issues.

I bought my Sidchrome tools in 1974 and still have most of them. A few lost over the years but breakages were limited to ratchets really.

You guys were fortunate. I had all my tools stolen in 78 and purchased a new set. but they were crap. As they broke, I replaced them with German ones.

A real early 69 going by the license plate. A September 68 build car or earlier (August).

Came off the line 2nd week of production in 68 at Metuchen. Body was assembled as an engineering exercise in July of 68. Doors stamped and shells built in May of 68.

Production started on the 69 Mustangs around August 20 of 1968.

So Q was a sister body she'll to the Mickey Thompson cars that ran at Bonneville in September of 68

The car pictured above was probably a San Jose built car

From the article, "has spent the majority of its life in a shed somewhere in California". More pics and info there too.
